Little Family Field Trip To Fredericksburg,Texas

We were getting ready to go to Fredericksburg, the little German town in Texas. It is about 1 & 1/2 hours drive. We always heard people talking about that place so we want to go check it out.


Here we are! A nice sunny day, warmer than I expected.




After walk around, we decided to eat at this restaurant called Wheeler's. Their menu looks pretty good and they had a lots of people waiting in line so we said lets give it a try.



The food tasted alright nothing too special. I had a ordinary American food the chicken fried steak, my hubby had German sausage club and Chia-yi had chicken fingers, corn bread and a bowl of cream potato soup. She ate a pretty good amount and seems to enjoyed her food that day. Oh! Woei-shyang had his bottle of milk for lunch.

Woei-shyang loves to get daddy's cold drink . I think he want to have a sip.


After the lunch, we went for a walk and check out some stores. Chia-yi spotted this cute elephant and jumped on it. I quickly took a picture and tell her to get down before she break it. I think that elephant is probably pretty pricey.




We stopped at this candy store and Chia-yi got a big pink lollipop. Yum, Yum!




Time for ice-cream. Chia-yi's favorite treat. She said " it is delicious!"


Time to headed back home.

We ended our adventure in the German town early b/c I had a bad allergy attack and we all felt pretty tired. Beside that, we all have a wonderful time! We enjoyed our little outing.

Daddy's Birthday

"Happy Birthday Honey! We love you very very much." My hubby turned 37 today and it is also New Year's day. What a double Celebration!
