Christmas Part III

Our little family spent a Christmas at home!

Because we didn't plan to be here on Christmas day, I didn't have the house decorated and we didn't even put a Christmas tree up this year. The day before Christmas, I went out to get decorations and I quickly decorated our place up for Chia-yi. Daddy offered to cook for us the Christmas lunch and it was very delicious. We had a relaxed and cozy Christmas!

Christmas Surprise Part II

On our way to Louisiana!

Half way to Louisiana, we stopped and got something to eat. While Chia-yi and daddy went to get food, Woei-shyang and I stayed in the car chilling. He was playing in his sister's car seat and was so happy to test it out. I couldn't resist taking a couple pictures of him because he just looked so cute. I told Woei-shyang, you are man enough to sit in a pink car seat.
We arrived at mamaw and papaw's around 4:30pm after 6 hours of driving. My sweet hubby did all the driving and let me sit in the back and chill. Thanks honey! Both little ones did a great job all the way there except Chia-yi asked a dozen times "are we there yet?". Other than that we had a relaxing and fun time in the car. It is Woei-shyang's first long trip to Louisiana and I am so proud of him doing so well .

Not long after we arrived at mamaw's, we had a big dinner. She made us a delicious turkey dinner and 5 different deserts. It was a big feast. She also insisted to feed Woei-shyang and taked care of him for me so we could have a peaceful dinner and she could also spend more time with him.

This is Chia-yi and Woei-shyang's great grandmother. We call her "granny". It is Woei-shyang's first time meeting his granny.

Four generations of The Crouch Family-----very very special!

Aunt Traci, uncle Graig and cousin Haley also brought Christmas presents over for Chia-yi and Woei-shyang to open .

After dinner, mamaw let all her little ones open Christmas presents before Christmas which Chia-yi was surprised again.

I also let them go through their Christmas stocking early too. Why not, I thought!

Woei-shyang loves his 1st new puppy and he sang with him. That was just too cute, I wish I had the camcorder close by to catch that moment. So bummed out!

They look so sweet drawing together. I wished we lived closer so they could spend more time together.

We were planning to stay there from Dec. 20th to 26th but we ended up coming back 2 days before Christmas. Woei-shyang had been coughing for almost a month now and I had taken him to the doctor numerus times but he sounded worst while we were there. With everyone concerned that he might have something, we decided to take him back to his doctor. Praise to God that he is fine now, he probably had allergies which led to sinus infection. His doctor prescribed a stronger antibiotic this time for 2 weeks and he is already looking better.

An Early Christmas Surprise (Part I )

We are going to mamaw and papaw's place in Louisiana for Christmas so we decided to let Chia-yi and Woei-shyang have their Christmas early. The original plan was to open presents after we came back from Louisiana but my hubby asked me the night before we were leaving if it is OK for them to have Christmas early. Of course, it is fine with me. I think both of us are more anxious than Chia-yi. Chia-yi was very surprised that we let her open her presents before Christmas because we told her to wait until we came back from Louisiana.

She was so HAPPY when she opened her big present. The one she's been wanting--the Tinkerbell bike cycle. I told her daddy what she wanted for Christmas and daddy bought it for her after work one day. Daddy hid the bike and other stuff in the garage until I got the chance to wrap it.

As a big sister, Chia-yi opened Woei-shyang's presents for him. She did ask me before hand and I told her "yes, you can but only this year" and she agreed. We will see how it goes next year!

After all the presents, Chia-yi chose to play with that bouncing ball first. She like it a lot. Daddy picked that one out for her too. I think daddy did a better job picking out the presents than I did! Good job honey!

Happy Birthday Papa Jesus
